Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Arkellium (“Arkellium”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through our marketing website at arkellium.com while the product is in early access. Arkellium is being built for service businesses in Canada.
Preliminary version. This page describes how this website handles information during our early-access phase. It has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and may change before our public launch.
1.Information we collect
Right now, this is a pre-launch website. The only personal information we actively collect is what you choose to give us when you join our early-access waitlist:
- Name — so we can address you personally.
- Email address — so we can contact you about Arkellium.
- Company name (optional) — to understand who is interested.
- Any optional details you include in a message field (for example, your team size or a note).
Like most websites, our servers may also keep basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We use our own self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Umami) to count page views and early-access requests. It runs on our servers and sets no cookies. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
2.Why we use it
We use the information you provide on the waitlist to:
- Contact you about Arkellium — early access, updates, and launch news.
- Understand demand and improve what we are building.
- Respond to questions you send us.
We rely on your consent — which you give by submitting the waitlist form — as the basis for contacting you. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your choices and rights” below).
3.Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, email delivery and website hosting), and only to the extent needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
4.Where your information is kept
Arkellium is built for the Canadian market and we aim to keep data on infrastructure we control. Some service providers may process limited data outside your province or country; where that happens, we take reasonable steps to protect it.
5.How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information for as long as needed to contact you about Arkellium, and then for a reasonable period afterwards. If you ask us to delete it, we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.
6.Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information — see our Security page for details. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable Canadian privacy law (including PIPEDA and Québec’s Law 25), you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
To make any of these requests, contact us at the address below.
8.Cookies and local storage
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Your language choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. If preview access is enabled, entering the preview password may set a first-party access cookie used to maintain access. You can clear both at any time in your browser settings.
9.Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Arkellium develops. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
11.Contact
Questions or privacy requests: hello@arkellium.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
